| Blogworld Expo – 2010 Lincoln MKT Test Drive Posted: 16 Oct 2009 11:32 PM PDT Not every company exhibiting at Blogworld Expo in Las Vegas is blogging related. As a matter of fact, the 2009 Blogworld featured an extremely diverse group of companies. They range from half hour meals to the Ford Motor Company. What’s an auto maker doing at a blogging show? For the same reason as every other exhibitor. Bloggers have money and Ford wants a piece. Ford brought along a nice sampling of their vehicles for the attendees at Blogworld to test drive, including a Mustang GT and the new 2010 Lincoln MKT. This is a cross over based on the Ford Flex. The MKT features lots of high tech gadgets, like pedal shifters, push button engine start, voice command, automatic self parking and a 3.5L EcoBoost engine that produces 355 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s a lot of power for a cross over. Watch the video to see if we brought the car back in one piece.

| Posted: 16 Oct 2009 12:57 PM PDT During our walk of the Blogworld Expo show floor, Zac Johnson and I came upon the eBay booth. This was a very big display with lots of old age arcade games. At first, I thought the games were free to play. Turns out you have to put in a quarter. All money raised from the games goes to charity. In addition to the arcade, eBay had a bunch of Rock ‘Em, Sock “Em fighting robots. Those who are old enough to remember this game should have fond memories of it. I decided to challenge Zac to a Rock “Em, Sock ‘Em Super Affiliate boxing match. Watch to the video to see who won. | My Blogworld Expo Interview with Yubby Posted: 16 Oct 2009 10:07 AM PDT Here’s a quick interview I did with Vincent Everts of Yubby on the first day of Blogworld Expo 2009. Yubby is a free service that lets you search video from 30 popular sites (like youtube, vimeo, etc.), easily collect them and publish them anywhere. Yubby is a media partner of Blogworld Expo and help Blogworld manage all the different videos which are published on and around the event. One of the things they did for Blogworld is aggregate thousands of videos into channels for the speakers. This results in a monster Yubby widget which you can find on the Blogworld Expo homepage. Just click on a speaker’s photo and you can view all his videos.
